DMGGMASD.

For the second year now the DriftMechaniks got together at Nashville Super Speedway on a secret time and date to host one of the best grassroots events in the nation. A gathering of friends, family, fashion, cars, fixed gear bikes, skateboards, the occasional Honda Ruckus, and one classy game of croquet. The main goal with an event like this, to keep drifting fun.

Here is my collection of photos covering one of the most exciting drift events that you never heard of, probably because you were not invited.

Put down your croquet mallets, Make sure your slacks are pressed proper. Tuck your double-windsor beneath your sweater-vest, and join me for a toast. A toast to what may be the greatest soiree to ever grace a private racetrack… EVER. Never mind the posh locale and upscale attendees. Look past the dress-code and fashion-forward attitude displayed with arrogance. This members-only event rivals lavish country-club galas and exclusive Ivy-league reunion brunches.

This ‘drift’ video is my attempt to take a different approach by focusing on what makes events like these so special: the people.

What do we have here Chuck?  Looks like we got ourselfs a bit of an addict thats drug of choice is a little taste for gossip.  You know you want more of that sweet sweet cocaine filled drama we call DMGGMASD.  The gossip has been spreading around like Little J’s bad choice in friends. Maybe it’s about that time to get your next dose of scandals to hold you over till next time.  But before you fall back into that upper-eastside coma of argyle and Chanel take this as a warning.  A relapse may be okay for an Archibald, but are you RBO enough to handle it?  Guess we will just have to wait and see.
